Volvo's all-new and all-electric EC90 is almost here and it looks to be what so many have been waiting for: a 3-row European luxury SUV that just so happens to be electric. Rather than going for an egg-shaped body ala Tesla and Mercedes, Volvo has re-imagined the form of the popular XC90 as a boxy 7-seat EV people mover. Volvo is planning on two power levels: 408 HP and 517 and "around 300 miles of range" (likely with the lower power level. The interior is the height of Scandinavian chic and since it'll be built in South Carolina, the base versions are likely to qualify for at least some of the federal tax credit.
